Film/ Television Courses (BA, B.Sc)

The study of the process that goes into making a film or a motion picture is covered in Film Making courses provided in select filmmaking institutes across India. Students who enrol in these courses are taught about the various stages of filmmaking, which include storey development, idea generation, and commissioning, as well as screenwriting, casting, shooting, sound recording and reproduction, editing, and screening the finished product in front of an audience. They are thoroughly educated on the various stages of film production, including development, pre-production, production, post-production, and distribution. They are taught how to come up with ideas, write screenplays, prepare for shoots, finalise the film’s cast and crew, choose locations, build sets, record raw elements for filming, choose appropriate images, sound, and other visual effects, and then distribute the finished film to theatres and on home video.
