Diploma in ECG Technology is a 2 year course, this unique program provides students with a background in medical areas such as anatomy, physiology and a concentration in Electrocardiography. Electrocardiogram machines are used by ECG technicians, also known as cardiographic technicians, to execute diagnostic procedures to assess a patient’s heart rate and monitor cardiac rhythm.
This special programme gives understudies a foundation in therapeutic zones, for example, life structures, physiology, and fixation in Electrocardiography, over the course of a year. Electrocardiogram equipment are used to execute suggestive tests to evaluate a patient’s pulse, screen cardiovascular mood, and assist doctors in finding anomalies in the heart and veins by an ECG expert, also known as a cardiographic specialist.
Eligibility Criteria:
- You should have passed higher secondary education or 10+2 with Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics as subjects at intermediate level from any recognized institute/university with a minimum of 50% marks
- Gain experience in the Healthcare field
- Complete on-the-job Training or an EKG Technician Program
- Obtain certification & complete further training
