Bachelor of Speech Therapy

Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) is a four-year undergraduate programme. Students who complete the BASLP programme are prepared to work as audiologists and speech-language pathologists. They study how to diagnose, treat, and prevent hearing loss in humans. Hearing aids and technology are also taught to the students.
The BASLP programme comprises of both theory and practise lessons, with the major areas being Audiology and Speech-language Pathology. The students complete an internship and training programme for the rehabilitation of those who have difficulty speaking in their final year.

Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum Qualification Required: Candidates need to pass 10+2 examination with Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics & Physics as their main subject.
  • Minimum Marks Required: 50% Candidates need to secure at least 50% marks from any recognized board.

Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) Admission Process:

Admissions are done on the basis of the eligibility set by the respective colleges and marks scores in the class 12 exams. But in some colleges, they conduct their own entrance exams for the admission of BASLP programmes. Following are some exams basis through which BASLP admissions are done:
