Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)

Bachelor of Commerce (abbreviated as B.Com) is a three-year undergraduate study in business administration. B.Com is one of the most popular bachelor’s degree programmes, with a large number of institutions and universities offering it. A majority of students who complete their higher secondary school in the commerce stream choose B.Com as their major. The Bachelor of Commerce degree programme is available in both traditional and distance learning formats.
Students studying a B.Com can choose their combination of studies from those given by the institute in addition to the mandatory subjects. If students perform well in their semester exams, some colleges allow them to choose their electives in the second or third year of B.Com. A bachelor’s degree in commerce provides students with an in-depth understanding of the discipline of business in the areas in which they choose to specialise. Candidates are trained in the subjects of their choice so that they can get correct information and be able to use it in real-world situations.
