B.Sc. in Nursing is an undergraduate course offered by several B.Sc Nursing colleges in India to all medical students. In India, the subject is offered as a four-year undergraduate degree to all students who have completed their 12th grade in the scientific stream. The course can be taken at any recognised institute or university that has received the necessary approval from the governing body.
Experts in India have collaborated to create a curriculum that is followed by all government and commercial colleges delivering the B.Sc Nursing programme. All applicants will be trained and qualified as graduates who will be able to practise the art in a variety of contexts.
The education is offered through a choice-based credit system, according to the Indian Nursing Council (CBCS). The programme will be custom-designed by the college or university that will deliver it, but all educational institutions will be required to follow INC’s requirements. B.Sc in Nursing Eligibility Criteria
- All Candidates must have crossed at least 17 years of age as of 31st December of the year they wish to seek admissions. The Maximum age limit for the course is at 35 years of age by 31st December of the same year.
- Candidates must have cleared the class 12 board examinations from one of the recognised board education, in the stream of science with Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with English. Candidates will have to individually pass all the mentioned subjects.
- Candidates will further be required to have obtained 45% aggregate score in the qualifying exam.
- Since all admissions will be based on the performance in the entrance exam, the candidates will be required to sit for either a state-level entrance exam or university-level entrance exam.
B.Sc Nursing Admission Process
- The first step in the B.Sc Nursing admissions procedure is to take an entrance exam, which will be administered by either the state or the university.
- Admissions will be granted on the basis of merit, which will be determined by the results of the entrance exam.
- Candidates may also be needed to participate in a counselling session or a selection procedure, as determined by the university or college that offers the course. Those who took the state-level admission exam will be required to attend a counselling session, while those who took the university-level entrance exam will be engaged in the university’s selection process.
