B.Sc in Hotel Management

The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is a three-year undergraduate programme in hotel management. Students who have completed class 12th in any stream are eligible to enrol in the programme. The Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration (BSc HHA) is one of India’s most popular undergraduate hotel management programmes. In collaboration with the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, it is offered by IHMs and many other colleges.
The study of operational and management skills used in the hotel sector is part of the BSc HHA. The programme prepares a candidate in theoretical study, hands-on training and practical exposure for a career in the hotel management industry. The curriculum is general in nature and covers a wide range of topics such as food preparation, marketing, planning, customer service, nutrition etc.

BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must have completed class 12th / 10 + 2 exams from a recognized board or equivalent.
  • Candidate must have received passing marks in all of the subjects in the exam.
  • Candidate must have studied and passed in English as a subject in Class 12th.

Admission Process of BSc Hospitality and Hotel Administration

  • Admission to the course is done on the basis of the entrance exam.
  • Eligible candidates must appear for NCHMCT JEE conducted for BSc HHA admissions.
  • Candidates who score qualifying marks in the exam can then appear for counselling or directly apply to their choice of college.
  • Colleges may conduct a personal interview before granting admission to the candidate.
