B.Sc Audiology and Speech Language Pathology

The Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology is a Four year full-time undergraduate programme that focuses on the science of the normal and abnormal auditory and speech-language systems. Students are also taught how to recognise and differentiate between auditory and speech-language impairments. As a result, students interested in Audiology, Speech Pathology, or other medicine-related disciplines should take this course. Furthermore, this degree provides several work chances in fields such as public health, drug manufacturing, hearing aid implant companies, medical hospitals and clinics, academic universities, and industry-based hearing conservation initiatives, among others.
The BASLP course consists of both theory and practical teachings with Audiology, and Speech-language pathology as primary subjects. In the final year, the students undergo internship and training for the rehabilitation of people who are suffering from speaking.

Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum Qualification Required: Candidates need to pass 10+2 examination with Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics & Physics as their main subject.
  • Minimum Marks Required: 50% Candidates need to secure at least 50% marks from any recognized board.

Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) Admission Process:

Admissions are done on the basis of the eligibility set by the respective colleges and marks scores in the class 12 exams. But in some colleges, they conduct their own entrance exams for the admission of BASLP programmes. Following are some exams basis through which BASLP admissions are done:
