Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence, or AI, is the imitation of human intelligence processes by computers, most notably computer systems. It is a branch of computer science concerned with the construction or formation of intelligent machines that react and work in the same way as humans do. Learning, reasoning, self-correction, and other human intelligence processes are simulated by artificial intelligence. As part of learning, AI obtains knowledge as well as the rules for employing that information. It arrives at definite or approximate results by using those precise sets of principles. Speech recognition, expert systems, planning, learning, problem-solving, and machine vision are some examples of Artificial Intelligence applications.
These are some of the tasks for which artificial intelligence has been programmed into computers.Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a discipline of computer science dedicated primarily to the development of intelligent machines. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a critical component of the technology industry in recent years. Many students are increasingly interested in studying Artificial Intelligence and pursuing a career in this sector. In recent years, there has been a huge surge in the demand for AI courses.
Artificial Intelligence research is a highly specialised and technological field of study. Students enrol in these courses to learn about AI’s key issues, which include programming computer systems to exhibit features like as reasoning, knowledge, observation, problem-solving, planning, learning, and the ability to move and manipulate objects, among others.
Undergraduate Level (4- year course) – B.Tech Computer Science with a focus on artificial intelligence is a course aimed at the class 12 pass-outs. This is a comprehensive course on artificial intelligence. The AI course involves the basics of artificial intelligence and Machine Learning (ML) as well as the advanced and practical aspects of AI and ML. Along with this, the B.Tech Artificial Intelligence course also includes the topics that are there in the normal computer science course – like – JAVA, C, electrical and electronics engineering, database management, design, operating systems etc.

B.Tech Artificial Intelligence Eligibility Criteria

  • Clear their 10+2 qualifying exam from a recognised Board
  • Pass their qualifying exam from Science stream and must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects at the qualifying level
  • Secure at least 50% aggregate in their qualifying exam

B.Tech Artificial Intelligence Admission Process

  • Admissions into the 4-year B.Tech Artificial Intelligence programme are done via both the entrance exam based and merit-based process. Some institutions conduct an entrance exam for the eligible applicants and based on the marks obtained by the applicants in the entrance exam and qualifying exam, seats are allocated. In some institutes, the qualifying exam marks along with their marks in some popular national-level or state-level entrance exams like JEE are considered for granting admissions.
