The Diploma in ECG Technology is a two-year curriculum that gives students a foundation in medical subjects like anatomy and physiology, as well as a focus on electrocardiography. ECG technicians, also known as cardiographic technicians, utilise electrocardiogram devices to perform diagnostic procedures such as measuring a patient’s heart rate, monitoring cardiac rhythm, and assisting physicians in detecting heart and blood vessel anomalies.
Eligibility Criteria:
- You should have passed higher secondary education or 10+2 with Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics as subjects at intermediate level from any recognized institute/university with a minimum of 50% marks
- Gain experience in the Healthcare field
- Complete on-the-job Training or an EKG Technician Program
- Obtain certification & complete further training
